SILICATO INDURENTE can be used for several application. It can be used to make the concrete waterproof. The application of SILICATO INDURENTE makes concrete as hard and solid as granite. It can be applied in those cased where it is necessary to protect and increase the chemical resistance of the cement, like concrete basins, concrete panels for construction, roof, bridges, airports. Due to its very low viscosity, it penetrates deep down into the material and, through chemical reaction, the sealing agent precipitates thus blocking pores and cracks. The sealing action is due to the precipitation of siliceous acid; the silica seals the substrate, which becomes homogeneous to absorption. Applied on cement, it makes it harder and more solid. It increases resistance to chemical, abrasion and compression. It increases surface hardness from 6 to 8 in the Mohs’ scale. It decreases the cracks of concrete due to ice and freeze. Objects treated with the product remain transpiring to stream and resistant to positive hydrostatic pressure. SILICATO INDURENTE spreads though pores and reacts with quicklime and salts, thus blocking the formation of dust. Floors, after application SILICATO INDURENTE, are resistant to oils, greases, etc.
